Pregnancy and Birth Companioning

At The First Path Birth Companion, building a meaningful relationship with you, getting to know you and learning what you want and need in your pregnancy and birth is what my companioning support is all about. Your experience is yours and I fully trust that you are the expert in your own life. All birth journeys, choices and outcomes matter and are valid.

Your right to autonomy and agency does not change because you are pregnant, or because maternity care can be fast paced or one size fits all. Finding your voice and using it with power can be difficult in pregnancy and birth due to increased vulnerability, changes to who you once were and a new path being walked within often unfamiliar healthcare spaces. I will help you hold the space for informed decision-making so you can communicate your choices more confidently.

The support packages offered at The first Path Birth Companion are about you and for you. My pregnancy and birth support is offered entirely VIRTUALLY, allowing you to access care from your own space, without the added strain of travel, logistics or having to be physically present with someone when that feels too much. Virtual support can be gentle, flexible and responsive, while still deeply relational and supportive. I look forward to you reaching out to talk about what you need, even if you aren't sure, I am here to listen and to find a way forward with you.

Welcome to The First Path Birth Companion, a space to be seen and fully held in your pregnancy and birth. Whether this is your first pregnancy or beyond, a VBAC, a caesarean, an assisted pregnancy, a surrogate pregnancy, a pregnancy following a loss, a high or low risk pregnancy, an anticipated NICU baby, a hospital, birth centre, home or unassisted birth, you deserve support where you feel heard, respected, informed of your options

Virtual Pregnancy & Birth Companion Support

I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation with no obligation, by phone or video call to explore your needs and ensure I am the right support for you.
